We are looking for you with a particular interest in meeting students in need of a smaller setting, who like to be challenged and think innovatively – and who see differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. 1 position(s). DUTIES In your role as a teacher in the special education group, you work closely with other educators in the group and maintain close and trusting contact with both students and guardians. You also collaborate in the school's student welfare team and maintain close contact with teachers in the regular classrooms. You are responsible for planning, implementing, grading, and assessing students in the special education group. You document and evaluate interventions for the students you work with. The work includes participating in developing individual plans, with the aim of gradually helping the student approach and return to the regular classroom environment. By identifying, analyzing, and removing obstacles, you contribute to enabling positive school experiences for the student. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a teacher's degree with qualification for grades F-6 and other subjects, or alternatively previous training as a grades 1-7 teacher. Knowledge and/or experience with NPF work is a merit. You are a secure adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a good atmosphere in the student group and work team is self-evident to you. You have the ability to create structure and adapt instruction based on individuals' needs. You are attentive, take responsibility, are engaged and creative. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, where particularly cooperation skills, approach in relational situations, and ability to create security and motivation for students are of importance. The school is centrally located in Kramfors within walking distance to the bus and railway station. The school comprises grades 7-9 and is currently organized into five parallel classes. The school has a well-developed student health program and an experienced staff team. DUTIES Together with two assistant principals and colleagues, you as principal will drive Gudmundråskolan's operations forward. A prioritized area of work is to implement a work organization based on experience and scientific foundation that can meet students' needs and enable successful schooling. As principal, you have overall responsibility for operations, as well as for personnel, finance, and workplace environment matters. You lead well-organized and structured systematic quality work to enable analysis and interventions that improve results and quality. To support your work, in addition to assistant principals, there is a central student health team with a speech-language pathologist, school psychologist, and school physician, as well as dedicated financial support, HR support, and security matter support. To work collegially and equitably on municipality-wide school issues, all principals meet in principal networks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a confident and very clear leader and who are ready to lead a change journey at the school to create work peace for both students and staff. You have several years of management experience and stand firm in your values, which means you lead with trust and a value foundation that aligns with the Curriculum Chapter 1 and the Education Act. Beyond trust and clarity, we believe that systematic work, a relational approach, and persistence are success factors in the assignment. You have relevant academic education and are well-versed in the governing documents that regulate operations, and you have a strong interest in and knowledge of school development, student health work, and leadership issues. It is meritorious if you have completed the Principal Program. Driver's license category B is a requirement. Employment type: Permanent employment.
