The school is centrally located in Kramfors within walking distance to the bus and railway station. The school comprises grades 7-9 and is currently organized into five parallel classes. The school has a well-developed student health program and an experienced staff team. We work to create a good learning environment where safety, study peace, well-being, and work satisfaction go hand in hand with high expectations for academic results. The school sees great value in developing its operations and participates in external projects in collaboration with, for example, Erasmus+ and Magelungen. We are looking for a principal who wants to make a difference! 1 position(s). DUTIES Together with two assistant principals and colleagues, you as principal will drive Gudmundråskolan's operations forward. A prioritized area of work is to implement a work organization based on experience and scientific foundation that can meet students' needs and enable successful schooling. As principal, you have overall responsibility for operations, as well as for personnel, finance, and workplace environment matters. You lead well-organized and structured systematic quality work to enable analysis and interventions that improve results and quality. To support your work, in addition to assistant principals, there is a central student health team with a speech-language pathologist, school psychologist, and school physician, as well as dedicated financial support, HR support, and security matter support. To work collegially and equitably on municipality-wide school issues, all principals meet in principal networks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a confident and very clear leader and who are ready to lead a change journey at the school to create work peace for both students and staff. You have several years of management experience and stand firm in your values, which means you lead with trust and a value foundation that aligns with the Curriculum Chapter 1 and the Education Act. Beyond trust and clarity, we believe that systematic work, a relational approach, and persistence are success factors in the assignment. You have relevant academic education and are well-versed in the governing documents that regulate operations, and you have a strong interest in and knowledge of school development, student health work, and leadership issues. It is meritorious if you have completed the Principal Program. Driver's license category B is a requirement. Employment type: Permanent employment.
