The school is a grades 4–6 unit with approximately 300 students and also houses adapted elementary school grades 1–9 as well as a leisure time center. In working with students, we start from health-promoting factors and students' strengths. We see that movement, recess and social contexts are important parts of students' development, both academically and socially. We are now seeking a leisure time teacher with an assignment as a recess supervisor. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a recess supervisor at Kramfors School, you have a central role in creating a safe and well-functioning school day, with particular focus on the school's in-between processes such as recess and transitions. You lead and develop active recess programs where students are offered meaningful and structured activities that promote movement, community and participation. The work occurs in dialogue with students, where their input is utilized in planning and developing recess activities. In the role, you work with students individually, in small groups or in class, based on needs related to safety, social interaction and study time during the school day. You plan, organize and follow up recess activities together with colleagues, with the aim of strengthening student participation, preventing conflicts and contributing to a positive school environment. You work in close collaboration with teachers, work teams and student health services to create a comprehensive approach to students' learning, development and well-being. The assignment also includes contributing to mapping and analysis of safety, study time and students' social situation in the school's various environments. You actively contribute to the school's promotion and prevention work by developing structures and methods that strengthen safety, attendance and study time throughout the school day. As a recess supervisor, you also participate in the school's systematic quality work, for example through follow-up of safety work, incidents and students' perception of the school environment. Work at the leisure time center is included. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have leisure time teacher certification and experience working with children and young people in a school environment as well as a good understanding of students' varying needs. We see that you: • Have documented experience of relationship-building work • Have excellent ability to create safety, structure and study time in various situations during the school day • Have good collaboration skills, high responsibility and commitment • Work with a development-oriented and solution-focused approach • Have particularly good ability to create trusting relationships with students, colleagues and guardians • Work from a relational and low-affect approach and can meet students professionally in various situations • Have good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself well in speech and writing • Have experience with digital systems for follow-up and documentation We will place great emphasis on personal suitability, and an overall assessment of education, experience and personal qualities will be made.
