Health and medical care in Kramfors Municipality consists of specialist-trained nurses, general nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists—totaling approximately 50 engaged employees. Work takes place in both ordinary and special housing, and is conducted in multiprofessional teams in collaboration with other activities. We are now seeking a unit manager for health and medical care's rehabilitative professional groups, as the current unit manager is moving on to new challenges. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a unit manager within municipal health and medical care, you have a key role and are the natural hub of operations. In the assignment, you have operational responsibility for activities, personnel, economics, results, and work environment, and you are responsible for approximately fifteen employees. The position also includes responsibility as an assistive devices controller. Together with your management colleagues, the medical responsible nurse (MAS), the medical responsible for rehabilitation (MAR), and the operations manager, you take responsibility for driving and developing a competent and cost-effective operation where collaboration, quality, and patient safety are the common ambition and where Kramfors residents are always in focus. In the operation, continuous work takes place with various development projects where you work both independently and in teams, both within your own operation and in collaboration with other operations within the municipality and external actors. Your leadership is based on trust and a salutogenic approach, and it is self-evident that you lead the operation forward together with your employees. You see a great advantage in making use of the employees' specific competence and inspiring commitment and participation, thereby creating good conditions for clear and more present leadership for all our employees. As a new manager in Kramfors Municipality, you will be included in our management development program. There, as well as at our joint management days, conditions are created for networking, collaboration, and exchange of experience with various managers in other parts of the municipality's operations. QUALIFICATIONS For this exciting and challenging assignment, we are looking for you who have higher education that the employer deems relevant for the position. We see that you have previous documented management experience, and it is meritorious if you also have higher education or equivalent education in management and leadership. Experience working in health and medical care and familiarity with the conditions and procedures of a politically governed organization are also meritorious. We are looking for you who are clear, driven, and engaged, have a genuine interest in working with various development issues, enjoy working with close employee relationships, and like driving various operational matters that sometimes require both courage and innovation. You are a responsible team player with the courage to experiment and explore new paths. As a leader in municipal health and medical care, you are solution-focused and action-oriented and create commitment to the operation's tasks, development, and results. You have the ability to utilize employees' knowledge, experience, and creativity to drive continuous improvement and quality work together with them and the administration's other managers. Furthermore, we see that you are an active and present leader with the ability to handle both operational matters and employees in a professional manner. Your ability to see events in a larger context, think long-term, and see the direct consequences of various decisions is appreciated. We expect your leadership to be characterized by trust-building and unpretentious collaboration. You have good communication skills and express yourself well in speech and writing. You also have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Driver's license class B is a requirement.
