At the Clinical Chemistry unit at Central Hospital, approximately 70 employees work in a 24/7 operation. With us, you will become a key person in diagnostic work with special responsibility for cell assessments. Your Work Tasks We are a service organization where we perform analytical work primarily in the areas of general chemistry, hematology, and coagulation, but also in the specialized areas of immunochemistry, protein chemistry, toxicology, and pharmacology. We also perform blood collections, functional examinations, and manage the anticoagulation clinic. This is a position for you who enjoys analytical depth – where every detail, color shift, and morphological deviation matters. The role includes microscopy of peripheral blood as well as assessment of synovial crystals and urinary sediment. When assessing peripheral blood, you work in pairs. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst. In this role, you will primarily work within hematology including microscopic assessment and cell morphology. The work requires you to be thorough, well-organized, and have good communication skills. Your responsibilities will include: Service and support of PNA instruments, including contact with suppliers and technical troubleshooting.
