Rehab Kusten is Seeking an Occupational Therapist
Information about the workplace Rehab Kusten is a private clinic within Vårdval Rehab in VGR. Our operations are conducted in collaboration with Vårdcentralen Kusten in Ytterby, in the western part of Kungälv Municipality. Vårdcentralen Kusten has just over 19,800 registered residents. Rehab also accepts patients registered at other health centers. At Rehab Kusten, 9 physiotherapists and 3 occupational therapists work together, and in addition to close collaboration within the team, we cooperate with physicians, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators at the health center. The clinic is located a 1-2 minute walk from Ytterby station. Excellent commuting connections; trains to/from Gothenburg take approximately 17 minutes. Job Duties Your responsibilities include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions in patients you will encounter include: reduced hand function, pain, mental health issues, and cognitive impairment. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and issuing certificates for home modifications. Together with the patient, a personalized rehabilitation plan is developed. The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups. The work involves collaboration with other professionals, both within the clinic and with other partner organizations. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for developing the operations through continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated therapists. Personal Qualities Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, flexibility, collaboration skills, initiative, and the ability to work with a high patient volume. Professional competence and independence are required, as we are often the first point of contact for our patients. Travel for work purposes occurs. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required. Coastal Health Center Seeks Substitute Licensed Psychologist for UPH Family House Klippan
Information about the workplace Coastal Health Center operates in the western part of Kungälv Municipality; Ytterby, Kärna, and Marstrand, with approximately 19,800 registered patients. We are a private health center under Praktikertjänst AB. Family House Klippan is a clinic specialized in children's and adolescents' mental health, UPH. The operation is an additional assignment within the healthcare choice program for Kungälv Municipality as well as surrounding municipalities. It is an open clinic with a special mission to care for children and young people ages 6-18 years with mental health challenges. The operation consists of several psychologists and social workers, and when needed, additional resources at the health center such as occupational therapist, physical therapist, and physician. The main focus is short-term treatment interventions, individual, group-based, or internet-based. The aim is to strengthen care for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health challenges and through consultation and supervision to support health centers in the surrounding area. We work in an integrated manner together with Kungälv Municipality. Family House Klippan is a collaboration between Coastal Health Center, Västra Götaland Region, and Kungälv Municipality. Family House is located a 1-2 minute walk from Ytterby station/bus stop. Train to/from Gothenburg takes approximately 20 minutes. Work responsibilities Due to an upcoming extended parental leave, we are now seeking you who are interested in a 1-year substitute position as a licensed psychologist, starting from early fall or earlier. Your work tasks consist of providing advice and support as well as assessment and treatment of children and young people ages 6-18 years with mild to moderate mental health challenges. Interventions are carried out in groups or individually in family context. The work will be conducted in collaboration with social services, school health services, and neighboring care providers. You will be offered collegial support from colleagues on-site, with regular team meetings in groups. Qualifications You are a licensed psychologist with competence and experience or interest in working with children and young people ages 6-18 years. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
