Information about the workplace Coastal Health Center operates in the western part of Kungälv Municipality; Ytterby, Kärna, and Marstrand, with approximately 19,800 registered patients. We are a private health center under Praktikertjänst AB. Family House Klippan is a clinic specialized in children's and adolescents' mental health, UPH. The operation is an additional assignment within the healthcare choice program for Kungälv Municipality as well as surrounding municipalities. It is an open clinic with a special mission to care for children and young people ages 6-18 years with mental health challenges. The operation consists of several psychologists and social workers, and when needed, additional resources at the health center such as occupational therapist, physical therapist, and physician. The main focus is short-term treatment interventions, individual, group-based, or internet-based. The aim is to strengthen care for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health challenges and through consultation and supervision to support health centers in the surrounding area. We work in an integrated manner together with Kungälv Municipality. Family House Klippan is a collaboration between Coastal Health Center, Västra Götaland Region, and Kungälv Municipality. Family House is located a 1-2 minute walk from Ytterby station/bus stop. Train to/from Gothenburg takes approximately 20 minutes. Work responsibilities Due to an upcoming extended parental leave, we are now seeking you who are interested in a 1-year substitute position as a licensed psychologist, starting from early fall or earlier. Your work tasks consist of providing advice and support as well as assessment and treatment of children and young people ages 6-18 years with mild to moderate mental health challenges. Interventions are carried out in groups or individually in family context. The work will be conducted in collaboration with social services, school health services, and neighboring care providers. You will be offered collegial support from colleagues on-site, with regular team meetings in groups. Qualifications You are a licensed psychologist with competence and experience or interest in working with children and young people ages 6-18 years. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
