Information about the workplace Rehab Kusten is a private clinic within Vårdval Rehab in VGR. Our operations are conducted in collaboration with Vårdcentralen Kusten in Ytterby, in the western part of Kungälv Municipality. Vårdcentralen Kusten has just over 19,800 registered residents. Rehab also accepts patients registered at other health centers. At Rehab Kusten, 9 physiotherapists and 3 occupational therapists work together, and in addition to close collaboration within the team, we cooperate with physicians, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators at the health center. The clinic is located a 1-2 minute walk from Ytterby station. Excellent commuting connections; trains to/from Gothenburg take approximately 17 minutes. Job Duties Your responsibilities include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions in patients you will encounter include: reduced hand function, pain, mental health issues, and cognitive impairment. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and issuing certificates for home modifications. Together with the patient, a personalized rehabilitation plan is developed. The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups. The work involves collaboration with other professionals, both within the clinic and with other partner organizations. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for developing the operations through continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated therapists. Personal Qualities Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, flexibility, collaboration skills, initiative, and the ability to work with a high patient volume. Professional competence and independence are required, as we are often the first point of contact for our patients. Travel for work purposes occurs. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
