About the workplace The County Administration Board is a driving force for sustainable society. The County Administration Board has broad operations and a very important role in several areas of society. This includes the highly current challenges of regional growth and implementing the green transition, developing civil defense and fostering democracy. The County Administration Board is a regional state agency with approximately 1,000 friendly and competent employees. We have operations in several locations in Västra Götaland as well as in other parts of Sweden, as we are responsible for IT operations for all county administration boards. Job duties As an administrator with us, you work together with colleagues and handle both routine, recurring tasks and new tasks where you need to figure out how to solve something yourself, as there are no existing procedures. The job duties include, among other things, making confidentiality assessments in requests for disclosure of public documents and managing a number of digital resource mailboxes. Staffing an animal welfare hotline where the public can call to report suspected animal neglect. Another job duty is to use RAKEL, which is a communication tool, to maintain contact with field personnel when they are out in the field. This is important and helps ensure a safe external work environment for field personnel. We currently have 11 administrators working at offices in Vänersborg, Borås, Mariestad and Uddevalla. The job duties are performed from the office with the possibility of some remote work.
