Home care services in Vänersborg are divided into several different teams that together form a whole. In Vargön, home care consists of two work groups that share the same facilities and work closely together in a shared cluster, which creates good conditions for collaboration and support. Work is scheduled on a rolling eight-week schedule where you, by submitting preferences, can influence your working hours to create a sustainable balance between work and leisure. You always have the right to eleven hours of rest between shifts, and working hours include days, evenings, and every other weekend. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant in home care, you are part of the daily work of the unit. You work in accordance with the Social Services Act Chapter 4, Section 1, and our goal is to strengthen or provide opportunities for the client to be able to live an independent life. The work tasks are varied and can be complex depending on the client's needs. As a nursing assistant in home care, you work with standard care and support tasks. You will work closely with the client on nursing care tasks and provide support in daily life. Your professional role also includes performing delegated health and medical care tasks, participating in a contact team around the client, writing and updating implementation plans, ombudsman roles such as weekend planner, social documentation, and contributing to the development of the service. We consider it a merit if you have experience working as a "Fixed Care Contact." We work in various digital systems to facilitate and ensure good quality in our work tasks. Our planning and documentation system is LifeCare Planning and LifeCare Mobile Care (LMO). We use MCSS for signing delegated health care tasks and have digital locks and medication cabinets in clients' homes. Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping are performed by external providers, which means that as a nursing assistant you can focus more on providing care services. Since we work in ordinary housing, you may work in homes where there are pets. Qualifications You should have a positive view of people, be calm and confident in yourself, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a group. You should also be able to build relationships with other people, be flexible, have good interpersonal skills, be easy to collaborate with, and be responsive to clients' needs. You need to master the Swedish language in speech and writing and have basic technical knowledge such as handling mobile phones, apps, and computers. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have completed the Care and Support Program, and we would like you to have several years of experience with similar work tasks. Upon employment, you must provide proof of the right to use the professional title "Nursing Assistant." A class driving license and cycling skills are required.
