Do you want a key role in the fire and rescue service's command operations and help ensure that rescue operations are conducted efficiently and safely? Fyrbodal Fire and Rescue Service is now recruiting Emergency Communications and Command Officers (LLB), a dynamic role where you will have a real opportunity to make a difference, with the chance to work closely with operational leadership and contribute to community safety. Assignment As an LLB, you will work within the decision-making domain of system command and perform tasks based on the roles the function encompasses—such as command support, initial resource management, and response adaptation. You will work within a rescue command system that extends from Mellerud in the north to Laholm in the south. Within the rescue command system, several LLBs work in parallel, stationed at geographically dispersed control centers in Trollhättan, Borås, and Halmstad. We are now seeking two to five Emergency Communications and Command Officers to be stationed in Trollhättan. You will work together with two other LLBs under the same on-duty commander. A central part of the LLB role is to contribute to an uninterrupted command process. You continuously evaluate information about assistance needs at emergencies and adapt response assignments based on the current situation assessment. In this role, you initiate, direct, and coordinate other time-critical measures in the early stages of rescue operations. You ensure that ongoing rescue operations are monitored and provide continuous and proactive command support to the response organization.
