The Employment Market Unit (AME) is tasked with supporting municipal residents aged 16–67 who receive subsistence support, with the goal of achieving employment or studies. The target group has different experiences, needs, NPF diagnoses, mental health issues, etc., which form the basis for individual planning based on their needs. Within AME, we work with assessments of work capacity and offer preparatory initiatives through our activities Växtverket and Hantverket. We run a café business with work training positions and provide support both before and during studies to create sustainable paths to self-sufficiency. The My Future Project My Future is a project run by the Employment Unit with the aim of supporting individuals in taking steps closer to the labor market and increasing their participation in society. The project is financed by the Coordination Association in Uppsala County and targets people aged 16–66 who are registered as residents of Tierp Municipality and who are far from the labor market. The project runs until December 31, 2027. The target group consists of people who need coordinated efforts and individually tailored support to progress to work or studies, move closer to the labor market, or participate in regular rehabilitation services from relevant authorities. Through close collaboration between the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and Region Uppsala County, good conditions are created for participants to receive the right support based on their needs. The coordinated efforts contribute to a holistic perspective where the individual's resources, opportunities, and goals are central. The project has a dedicated team consisting of a project coordinator, two career counselors, and an occupational therapist. To further strengthen support for participants, the project is now being expanded with an employment consultant, enabling even more individual and labor-market-oriented work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an employment consultant, you work within a project aimed at supporting participants in moving closer to the labor market and eventually progressing to work or studies. You are part of a project team where collaboration and a shared focus on the individual's development are central. In this role, you are responsible for matching participants with suitable work training placements based on their individual circumstances, needs, and goals. You actively work to identify, establish, and develop contacts with businesses and organizations to create sustainable and high-quality work training placements. Youth Support Worker

Residential support consists of eight different teams: three general psychiatric teams, one LSS team, one addiction team, one integration team, one family team, and one youth team. We are also responsible for a meeting place for people with long-term mental health issues, aimed at creating social community and breaking isolation. Residential support consists of 32 employees, of which four are coordinators. Our work climate is relaxed and the atmosphere is open, informal, and filled with laughter.
