Residential support consists of eight different teams: three general psychiatric teams, one LSS team, one addiction team, one integration team, one family team, and one youth team. We are also responsible for a meeting place for people with long-term mental health issues, aimed at creating social community and breaking isolation. Residential support consists of 32 employees, of which four are coordinators. Our work climate is relaxed and the atmosphere is open, informal, and filled with laughter. WORK DUTIES As a youth support worker, you work with young people aged 13-21 who need support in their daily lives, psychosocial issues, problematic school absence, self-harm, mental health issues, substance use risk, addiction, or NPF diagnoses. - Support for school - Support for treatment/addiction - Motivational conversations - Support for leisure activities - Support for emotional management. The assignment is shaped together with the young person, based on each individual's needs. Our methods are developed together based on low-affect interaction, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches. QUALIFICATIONS For our youth team, we are now seeking a man between 25-40 years old who is trained as a treatment assistant or has equivalent qualifications. We are looking for someone who is driven by genuine commitment to young people and who as a person is structured, solution-focused, and flexible. As well as the ability to motivate, persevere, and handle conflicts in a low-affect and solution-focused manner. The work places high demands on interaction skills and the ability to create attachment and professional relationships. Flexibility and accountability are qualities we value highly. You see collaboration both internally and externally as a matter of course. Good documentation skills are required. B-class driver's license is required. An extract from the criminal records register for group homes is required. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Employment is ongoing. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer. Working hours: Shift work.
