Biogas and Workshop Technician
Vallens Gård is located just outside Ljusdal in the scenic region of Hälsingland. Currently, the farm manages approximately 1700 hectares of cropland for the production of hay, feed grains, and whole-crop silage for the farm's dairy herd. The herd currently consists of approximately 1250 milking cows, plus heifers and replacement animals. In addition to milk and feed production, the farm manages forestry operations. Vallens Gård has been in an expansion phase for many years, and during 2025 has commissioned a biogas facility and a new barn with over 400 spaces. Construction is now underway for a facility to upgrade biogas into vehicle gas. We are looking for you to take responsibility for operating our facility that produces biogas from the farm's manure, and in the next stage further refines the biogas into vehicle gas. You will be responsible for daily operations and ensure that service and maintenance are properly conducted. You need to be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as our technology suppliers are located in other countries. In addition to work with bio- and vehicle gas, you will work on repairing and maintaining our vehicles and machinery. The farm has a well-equipped workshop with an attached washing facility.

Description The Food Service Unit in Ljusdals Municipality is responsible for the preparation and serving of meals to children, students, and seniors, as well as the production of chilled meal boxes for customers in ordinary housing.
