Work Tasks As a music teacher at Stenhamreskolan, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating music instruction according to the curriculum for grades 4–9. You create lessons that engage and inspire students in musical creation and understanding. You lead and organize musical performances, concerts, and other music arrangements that give students the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and express themselves creatively. You are responsible for the care and use of the school's instruments and music-related equipment. An important part of your work is also collaborating with colleagues to integrate music into the school's other activities and values. You maintain regular contact with students' guardians to inform them about progress and activities. Furthermore, you are expected to actively participate in the school's professional development, development work, and team meetings to contribute to a positive and professional work environment. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a teaching degree specializing in music and who is certified to teach music in grades 4–9 of primary school. It is an asset if you have experience teaching in these grade levels as well as experience organizing and leading musical performances. A probationary period may be applied according to applicable collective agreements. Employment follows Ljusdals Municipality's current salary and employment terms.
