Personal assistant needed for a man in the Harg area in Nyköping We are now seeking an attentive and dedicated personal assistant for a man in his 40s who is completely paralyzed following a car accident. The client lives in a peaceful residential area in Nyköping in an area called Harg. A driver's license is a requirement for this position. The client is fully communicative, expresses his own needs, and is clear about how he wants his daily life to function. As an assistant, you work closely with the client, follow his instructions, and provide support in all aspects of daily living. The personal chemistry and collaboration between the client and assistants are crucial for the daily routine to work well. About the Position In your role as a personal assistant, you help the client with, among other things: • Personal care • Dressing and undressing • Transfers with ceiling lift • Catheter management (introduction and training provided) • Exercise and daily routines at home • Household tasks Double assistance occurs during parts of the day. The work requires reliability, attention to detail, and good collaboration skills. We are looking for someone who is: • Attentive – you can listen carefully, show understanding, and have good empathy • Adaptable and social – you are easygoing, social, and can adjust to different situations • Interested and a team player – you have the drive to learn, take responsibility, and work well in a group • Confident and comfortable working closely with the client and following clear instructions • Has good Swedish, both spoken and written • Has a Class B driver's license and the ability to get to the workplace in Nyköping as well as drive the client's car for work purposes Previous experience with personal assistance, care/healthcare, and knowledge of lifts and catheters are advantageous but not required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Working Hours We are looking for someone who can work three nights every other week and be available to fill in as needed.
