We're now looking for someone with their heart in the right place and experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. About the position: The client is a young, active woman who is mobile but non-speaking. She understands everything said to her in a good tone and uses pictures, TAKK, and a tablet as communication support. As a personal assistant, you'll help her with everything from personal care to communication, training, and various daily routines and activities. In this role, it's important that you can handle stressful situations, especially when unexpected events occur. You'll be her voice in her surroundings and therefore need to be secure, patient, and attentive. We're looking for someone who: - Is active, a good swimmer, resourceful, and can contribute new activities - Is pedagogical in your approach and can bring yourself to the role - Is attentive and observant of non-verbal communication - Can work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues - Has good Swedish in speech and writing - Is a non-smoker - Does not have allergies to pet fur – there is a cat in the home - It's a plus if you have experience with TAKK, have a driver's license, or speak Spanish. Client's interests: The client enjoys movies, swimming pools, gymnastics, music, and spending time with friends. As an assistant, you'll join and participate in these activities – so it's important that you share an interest in an active and playful daily life.
