Kungsparken is Kumla's new care and residential facility, with a total of 126 beds focused on somatic care, dementia care, and short-term care. The facility consists of two buildings with a total of seven floors, where each floor has 18 apartments. Our residence is centrally located in Kumla, on a hilltop with views over both the city and its beautiful surroundings. Your workplace will be at our new unit for people with cognitive illness, a department with a total of 18 apartments. At nearby units there are also nursing assistants with specialist expertise in dementia care, palliative care, mental health, and welfare technology. You meet people with different needs and wishes, and get to hear their life stories and experiences. Together with your colleagues, you support our residents in their daily activities, with a focus on strengthening their own abilities and resources. You will work in a team with, among others, nurses, occupational therapists, and unit managers, where all staff collectively share responsibility for maintaining high quality care and ensuring guidelines and decisions are followed. We work with a rehabilitative approach where the resident is always at the center, and our goal is to stimulate and motivate independence and activity. Nursing Assistants for Home Care Services in Kumla Municipality

Home Care Services in Kumla is growing—we recently expanded to five home care teams from the previous four teams. We are centrally located at the home care office from which all home care in the municipality operates. We provide home care throughout Kumla Municipality and use both bicycles and cars as work tools. 8 position(s). WORK TASKS As a nursing assistant in home care, you will have varied, challenging, and flexible work. You will meet service users in their own homes. They are of all ages, at different stages of life, and have different needs. You will perform services in our service users' own homes. The services are determined by assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act (SOL), for example personal care and activation, but can also include tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) performed through delegation and on assignment from a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist, for example administering medication.
