The Role
As Director of Operations, you have overall responsibility for the municipality's combined educational activities within preschool, primary school, and adapted primary school. You lead and develop the operations together with the municipality's principal group and are responsible for creating good conditions for children, students, and adult learners to achieve their goals. This includes, among other things, ensuring that you:
Ensure analysis, follow-up, and drive development initiatives based on results, goal achievement, and the municipality's long-term objectives.
Serve as manager for the principals and create a clear and trust-based organization.
Take responsibility for operational planning, quality, results, resource allocation, budget, and financial follow-up.
Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with the Education Act, curricula, and other regulations.
Collaborate with politicians, external stakeholders, and other departments.

Is This You?
We are looking for you who:
Have relevant higher education in pedagogy, leadership, or equivalent.
Have completed principal training and have several years of experience in leadership within educational operations.
Have good knowledge of the Education Act, curricula, reforms, regulations, and other governing documents.
Have experience leading and developing systematic quality work, preferably at the principal level, and documented experience in analyzing and improving results and equity.
Have documented experience with budget and results responsibility, good IT skills, and preferably experience working with AI.
Have a valid driver's license (Category B) as travel is required for the position.
We want you to be a clear, present, and strategic leader, preferably with good understanding of collaboration between political governance and the civil service organization.
Since we work in close connection to schools where children and young people spend time, an extract from the criminal records register will be required before any potential employment.
Interviews are planned for June 24-26, and if necessary, interviews can be conducted digitally.
