We are now looking for a mechanical design engineer at a smaller tech development company where you'll be part of developing products from idea to finished solution together with electronics and software developers. About the Role As a mechanical design engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional development team consisting of electronics engineers, software developers, and project managers. You are responsible for the mechanical design in projects and work closely, especially with the electronics team, to ensure that mechanics and electronics work together optimally. The work takes place primarily in SolidWorks and includes designing products in materials such as metal, plastic, and wood. A large part of your daily work involves developing smart mechanical solutions where, for example, circuit boards, displays, and other electronics need to be integrated into the products. Projects vary in scope and length, which provides a varied day-to-day experience with many different technical challenges.
