With around 160 engaged employees, we are the largest industrial company in Malung-Sälen municipality. Each year we produce over 380,000 cubic meters of pine and spruce timber, with more than 80% exported to customers around the world. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to combine technical expertise with leadership in a central role within industry? We are now seeking an engaged and driven team leader for our mechanics department. As team leader, you are responsible for planning, leading, and developing daily work within the mechanics department. You have direct supervisory responsibility for shift personnel, currently consisting of approximately six employees, and you work to create a safe work environment with high quality and good efficiency. In this role, you combine operational mechanical work with responsibility for planning, coordination, and leadership of daily work. You work both practically and strategically with maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements within mechanical operations. You handle both acute production situations and planned and short-term interventions, and actively contribute to developing work methods and procedures. The role involves close collaboration with the operations manager, who has overall responsibility for the area. You are a key person in the mechanical team and collaborate daily with other functions within the operation. This is a full-time position with working hours during daytime, 40 hours per week. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Upper secondary education with a focus on mechanics or equivalent experience • Previous experience with leadership or supervision within industry • Experience with mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in a production environment • Good ability to work in a structured, solution-oriented, and responsible manner • Class B driver's license (manual transmission) • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Meritorious • Experience working in a sawmill or similar process industry Employment form: Permanent employment. WORK TASKS We now need to strengthen our maintenance department with a shift mechanic. With us, you work in a modern industrial environment where new technology and equipment are in focus. You contribute to ensuring stable and efficient operation of our production. The entire facility becomes your workplace, which means varied and developmental work. You work closely with production on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs and become an important part of the team that ensures machines and equipment function optimally. Your main work tasks consist of both preventive and corrective maintenance within mechanics, across the entire facility. The work covers areas such as welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics. This is a permanent full-time position (100%). The work involves continuous 2-shift operation (37 hours/week) according to the following schedule: • Off week • Evening shift • Day shift including weekend work QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Secondary education in mechanics or equivalent experience • Experience with mechanical maintenance in industry or similar operations • Class B driver's license (manual transmission) • Good problem-solving skills and a practical work approach • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Orderliness, sense of service-oriented work • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Meritorious • Experience from sawmills or process industry • Good knowledge in turning, milling, and welding is advantageous.
