JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to combine technical expertise with leadership in a central role within industry? We are now seeking an engaged and driven team leader for our mechanics department. As team leader, you are responsible for planning, leading, and developing daily work within the mechanics department. You have direct supervisory responsibility for shift personnel, currently consisting of approximately six employees, and you work to create a safe work environment with high quality and good efficiency. In this role, you combine operational mechanical work with responsibility for planning, coordination, and leadership of daily work. You work both practically and strategically with maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements within mechanical operations. You handle both acute production situations and planned and short-term interventions, and actively contribute to developing work methods and procedures. The role involves close collaboration with the operations manager, who has overall responsibility for the area. You are a key person in the mechanical team and collaborate daily with other functions within the operation. This is a full-time position with working hours during daytime, 40 hours per week. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Upper secondary education with a focus on mechanics or equivalent experience • Previous experience with leadership or supervision within industry • Experience with mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in a production environment • Good ability to work in a structured, solution-oriented, and responsible manner • Class B driver's license (manual transmission) • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Meritorious • Experience working in a sawmill or similar process industry Employment form: Permanent employment.
