The Swedish Prison and Probation Service (SiS) is a state authority that provides individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse issues. We are also responsible for the implementation of closed youth care. Our activities are conducted at institutions throughout the country, and our shared goal is to create vital change for the individuals we meet. SiS youth home Eknäs is beautifully located by Lake Mälaren, approximately one mile outside Enköping. The institution receives school-age boys aged 12–16 years with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse. Eknäs has four departments, two of which are locked treatment units. One of these is specialized for boys with boundary-crossing sexually deviant behavior. We are now seeking a treatment secretary who wants to contribute to vital change. Job Description As a treatment secretary at Eknäs youth home, you will have varied and exciting work. In this role, you are responsible for documentation and treatment planning in consultation with the young person, social services, and other functions in the treatment team, such as psychologists, nurses, and treatment educators. Your main work duties include: Ensure that treatment or implementation plans, discharge plans, and final notes are created and continuously followed up and revised. Involve and engage the young person in every step of the treatment or implementation process.
