The Real Estate Department is responsible for providing fit-for-purpose facilities for all municipal operations – from education and childcare to elderly care and sports. RESPONSIBILITIES The position is located in the Real Estate Department's project unit, and you will work both independently and together with colleagues to develop the buildings' control and regulation systems within the HVAC field. The role is varied and requires technical breadth – you'll be involved from early concept through to finished system. Your responsibilities include: • Develop and be responsible for design guidelines within the installation field • Serve as a technical expert during feasibility studies, design, and implementation • Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, handover, and follow-up • Actively participate in the operations unit's development work • Collaborate with facility managers, operations technicians, energy coordinators, designers, and contractors • Participate in projects focused on control and regulation technology • Contribute to the development of the municipality's higher-level SCADA system (multiple manufacturers involved) • Participate in operations, energy, and technical matters • Drive energy efficiency improvements and utility development And be a driving force in the municipality's continued journey in building automation QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who has: • Post-secondary education focused on control and regulation technology or equivalent experience • Several years of experience as an automation engineer • Class B driver's license • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It's a merit if you also have: • Experience with HVAC installation and project management for installation projects • Practical and theoretical knowledge of building operations • Knowledge of BBR, AMA HVAC and Cooling, AMA Electrical, and energy work including AI optimization • Experience with contract law You are self-driven, organized, and responsible with strong technical competence. You comfortably manage multiple assignments in parallel and make well-reasoned prioritizations. With your holistic perspective, you always act in the best interest of operations and build trust with colleagues and external parties. You enjoy work that combines technical problem-solving with close collaboration, and you're equally comfortable in a control center and machine room as you are in the project office.
