We are looking for you to work as a Network Engineer with both lab and field work. About the role We are now seeking several network engineers who want to be part of building a new business area focused on complete solutions within communication and networking. You will be part of a team of about 15 people where you together are responsible for ensuring that critical systems function in real-world environments. In this role, you will work with designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network solutions that enable stable communication between different systems and platforms. The systems are used to create a shared situational picture in real-time, enable command in the field, and ensure information sharing between units. You will work both in a lab environment and in the field with the customer, where the systems are used operationally. Examples of work tasks: Installation, configuration, and operation of networks in complex IT and communication environments Troubleshooting in networks, transmission, and system integration (LAN/WAN, radio, IP-based communication) Integration of networks with radio and command systems Building and maintaining test and reference environments Deployment of systems in Windows and Linux environments Automation of configurations via scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) Support to customer during exercises and operational activities Documentation and technical feedback to development team Your profile To succeed in this role, we believe you are a self-driven problem solver who thrives in an environment where all answers are not readily available. Requirements for the position: Several years of professional experience in one or more areas: Networking (prior knowledge of system architecture, routing, transmission, data centers, building data networks) Programming, experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Bat, PowerShell), applied configurations that work in Windows/Linux environments Radio and communication systems Post-secondary technical degree (university, college, vocational school, military) in Computer Science/Networking/Technical Physics/Equivalent Swedish and English in speech and writing Ability to travel occasionally on business B-category driver's license The assignment is placed in a security classification. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security vetting and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
