About the Position As a machine operator with us, you work in our metal treatment facility, where we treat steam generators as part of our nuclear technology operations. The work involves shift work and is conducted in a continuous 3-shift system with morning, afternoon, and night shifts. In this role, you are an important part of daily production and are responsible for ensuring work is performed safely, with quality assurance, and according to established instructions. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and continuously participate in improvement and optimization work regarding work methods, equipment, and safety. Your responsibilities include: Operation and monitoring of machinery such as band saws, CNC mills, tube drawing equipment, and measurement equipment for secondary waste Heavy lifting, including work with jacks and switching between transport saddles, rail cars, roller stands, and treatment saddles Handling of remote-controlled and robotic machinery Preparatory work with steam generators, such as measuring, drilling control holes, gas cutting of flanges, and welding of lifting lugs Bridge crane and forklift operation Some heat treatment work, such as gas cutting, oxygen lance cutting, and plasma cutting About You We are looking for someone with experience from manufacturing industry and/or who has studied practical/technical programs such as industrial, electrical, or automotive programs. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Experience with or interest in working structurally (with support from our instructions) and together with colleagues improving work methods to achieve safety and quality Experience working with remote-controlled machinery (such as Brokk machines) and/or robotic machinery High practical technical competence in troubleshooting and problem-solving Experience and training in welding Good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written) and English (specifically spoken) B-class driver's license and access to your own car Good computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Meritorious Good knowledge of radiation safety Forklift certification Bridge crane certification We place great emphasis on personal qualities in this recruitment and are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and willing to learn new things. Employment Level: Full-time, permanent position with an initial six-month probationary period. Continuous 3-shift operation.
