Operational Team Leader for Night Shift at Work System Tenhult We're looking for a Team Leader for our night shift production team!
One of our colleagues is moving on to a new role within the company, and we're looking for someone like you who wants to take the next step and combine operational production work with expanded responsibility for the team.
In this role, you'll work closely with the production team with a focus on assembly, while being responsible for leading, planning, and following up on work. We're looking for someone who is engaged, curious, and thrives in a role where you can take responsibility and develop together with others.
About the role:
As a Team Leader on our night shift, you have an important role in production where you combine hands-on work with natural leadership.
Most of your time you work operationally with the team in production. You assemble, pack, and handle products while helping to plan work, create structure in daily operations, and ensure the team has the right conditions to succeed.
You serve as support for your colleagues in daily work and help prioritize, solve problems, and drive work forward when needed. The role involves no direct personnel responsibility, but you have an important function in creating engagement, job satisfaction, and good collaboration within the team.
In addition to assembly work, you're also responsible for certain overarching tasks related to the night shift, such as startup and monitoring of CNC machines, capot robot, and some inventory management.
You also serve as an important link between night and day production by ensuring clear handover regarding production, status, and any discrepancies.
In summary, the role means you:
Work operationally with the team in production
Contribute to structure and planning in daily operations
Support and help colleagues in daily work
Ensure production runs according to plan
Responsible for handover between night and day production
Support production with CNC, capot robot (ABB), and warehouse as needed
Contribute to order, structure, and continuous improvements
To thrive in this role, we believe you...
...are a responsible person who likes to take initiative and contribute to the team's success together.
You enjoy an environment where a lot happens, like collaborating with others, and naturally take responsibility in daily work. At the same time, you dare to make decisions, create structure, and follow up on what needs to be done. Since the position is on permanent night shift, we also see that you're comfortable working nights.
You don't need to have worked as a Team Leader before, but you likely have experience from production, warehouse, assembly, or similar operations and have shown that you can take greater responsibility in a group.
We think some of these points describe you:
You have experience from production, warehouse, or assembly
You've previously taken informal responsibility in a team
You're structured and like order and organization
You're communicative and collaborate easily with others
You're solution-oriented and take own initiative
You thrive in a role where you both work operationally and help the team reach common goals
Requirements for the position:
• Swedish in speech and writing.
Meritorious:
• Forklift license, primarily A1–4 and B1–4.
