Individual and Family Care Individual and Family Care is a business consisting of three units: child and family, adults, and administration, with a total of 20 employees. In the child and family unit and the adult unit, both social workers and staff work with open care in various forms such as treatment, family support, or family therapy. The operations are led by an operations manager. The child and family unit is now seeking a social worker. The unit consists of senior case handlers and social workers who work with intake, investigation, and follow-up of interventions, family law, and foster care. It is a small municipality and a relatively small operation where collaboration is essential. We help and support each other with the cases the unit is responsible for. The unit handles cases concerning children and young people from 0 years up to 21 years of age. This involves exercising authority based on the Social Services Act and the Act on Care of Young People. About Student Health Services Student health services in Smedjebacken Municipality supports the municipality's six primary school units and consists of medical, psychosocial, psychological, and sociopedagogical competencies. Together we work to promote students' health, learning, development, and attendance. The working group includes three school nurses, three student counselors, and two sociopedagogues, one of whom works within a three-year project focused on school attendance. School nurses are responsible for health consultations, vaccinations, and medical follow-ups. Student counselors contribute psychosocial competence and counseling support, while sociopedagogues work particularly to support student attendance and strengthen collaboration between school, student, and home. As a school physician, you become an important part of student health services' medical efforts. You serve as medical support to the school nurses and contribute with medical assessments, advice, and collaboration on matters concerning students' health and schooling. The position is 10%. About the Position Do you want to work in a production environment where safety, quality, and collaboration are in focus? We are now seeking employees for several roles within steel mill production. The positions include work as ladle operator, fourth hand, and third hand at the furnace. Placement will be based on your experience and competence. Fourth Hand at the Furnace As fourth hand at the furnace, you work closely with other furnace personnel and are an important part of daily operations around the furnace. You are responsible for, among other things, charging scrap, monitoring slag breaking, truck operation during preparation of hatch pallets, and cleaning and maintaining order around the furnace. You also participate in refractory repairs, assist maintenance personnel with repairs, and contribute to optimizing production flow and energy use. Third Hand at the Furnace As third hand at the furnace, you work together with assistant melters and other furnace personnel to ensure an efficient and safe melting process. Work tasks include, among other things, sampling at the furnace, preparation of tap holes, truck operation, cleaning, and participation in refractory repairs. You also assist maintenance personnel with repair work and actively work to optimize production and energy consumption. Ladle Operator As a ladle operator, you are responsible for handling, monitoring, and preparing ladles before tapping. Work tasks include, among other things, cleaning and inspecting ladles, preheating and checking equipment. You work closely with melters and assistant melters and have an important role in ensuring that the process works efficiently and safely. You are also responsible for identifying and acting on risks that affect quality, environment, or work environment. The positions are permanent employment with Ovako.
