Primary Teacher for Remote Education in North Sámi 50-70%
The Sámi School Board is a state agency with administrative offices, school principal, controllers, HR, and case handlers in Jåhkåmåhkke. Sámi School is an educational form equivalent to primary school with instruction from preschool through grade 6. The foundation of instruction is Sámi culture and the Sámi language according to the Sámi School curriculum. The Sámi School Board also operates preschools by agreement with respective municipalities. The Sámi School Board has operations in Giron, Gárasavvon, Váhtjer, Jåhkåmåhkke, and Dearna. The Sámi School Board provides remote education in the Sámi languages and supports the development and production of educational materials for Sámi instruction. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES Plan lessons in the North Sámi language based on course plan objectives. Teach students in Sámi via computer at a distance. Participate in a work team where you collectively develop remote education regarding grading and assessment. Develop digital methods and educational materials.
