In Ragunda Municipality, we offer an exciting opportunity to combine strategic leadership as a Unit Manager for Administration, IT and Emergency Preparedness with the close and quick decision-making processes of a small municipality. Here you'll have the chance to work closely with colleagues and citizens while driving important development initiatives. Your role with us As a Unit Manager with us, you'll become a central figure. We recently decided to bring Administration, IT and Emergency Preparedness under one umbrella to create synergy, and now we're looking for you to lead that journey. Your mission is to shape the unit and you'll have the mandate to set the structures, working methods and goals for our shared work. You have personnel, budget and operational responsibility for three specialist areas: Administration: Responsibility for board administration, records management and archives. You ensure legal security and good public administration. IT: Strategic management of our digital environment, system administration and digitalization pace. IT has an operational manager. Emergency Preparedness: Leadership of civil defense, crisis preparedness and security protection work. Emergency Preparedness has an operational manager. Your areas of responsibility and main tasks • Lead and develop the Emergency Preparedness, IT and Administration unit. • Streamline administrative procedures and ensure that the administration complies with laws and governing documents. • Implement and monitor policies and procedures for information security and data protection. • Drive development projects within digitalization and information security. • Ensure that the organization is prepared for incidents and crises. • Provide advice to management on matters relating to law, security and IT strategy. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone with relevant academic training in security, IT, law or equivalent, or alternatively experience that the employer considers equivalent. We also place great emphasis on your personal suitability and your ability to build relationships. You have knowledge in at least one of the unit's areas of responsibility and a genuine interest in the others. You also have good communication skills and can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, and have the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. We're looking for a communicative leader with the ability to prioritize in a complex daily operation. You're accustomed to moving between strategic decisions and operational issues. Since this is a new role, it requires that you are self-driven, proactive and have a pedagogical ability to explain why security and structure are everyone's responsibility. If you have experience leading change or starting up operations and have experience with leadership including personnel and budget responsibility, preferably in the public sector, that is a merit. Qualities such as solution-focused, structured and having strong drive we see as merits. The position is classified as a security position. A security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Salary form: Monthly salary.
