General Medicine Specialist at Backe Health Center
Backe Health Center is a smaller unit with approximately 1,200 registered patients, providing excellent conditions for long-term patient relationships, continuity, and medical quality. At the same time, you have access to physician colleagues at Strömsunds Health Center, where the proximity care unit NÄVA is also located. Since 2022, primary care and ambulance services are integrated – an important step in the work for good and close care, where the patient's needs guide the organization of care. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a district physician with us, you work broadly within primary care assessing, investigating, treating, and advising patients with varying symptoms and medical questions. The assignment includes both acute and planned patient contacts and is characterized by a holistic perspective on the patient's needs. The work also includes health promotion and prevention measures, individually and in groups, as well as close collaboration with other professions at the health center. Assignments within child health services (BVC) and medical responsibility for special housing will be included. You work evidence-based and use varied working methods, including individual patient meetings, group activities, and digital contacts via the internet, with the goal of offering accessible, good, and close care. Working conditions are designed to be sustainable over time. On-call and standby duties are included approximately once per month and are held at Strömsunds Health Center. QUALIFICATIONS Swedish medical license and specialist qualification in general medicine. Since we work in a rural area, a driver's license is advantageous. About the Role As director, you have overall responsibility for the operation's quality, development, and daily management.
