We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, elderly people, persons with disabilities, municipal health and medical care, as well as employment, integration, and adult education. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking additional nursing assistants/home care aides for temporary hourly employment with Home Care Services Gnesta Landet. Together with us, you will provide our elderly care clients with the best possible care and support. Working in home care means supporting and assisting clients in their own homes based on approved care plans. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene, assistance with meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, shopping, accompanying clients to appointments such as doctor visits, social documentation, and more. You will also perform health and medical care tasks following instructions and delegation from a nurse, such as administering insulin and medications. As a nursing assistant/home care aide in home care, you will have varied work where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life. Working hours are flexible and may include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We value relevant care education, preferably as a nursing assistant. You need to have good interpersonal skills, the ability to support and assist people, and be genuinely thoughtful, engaged, and responsible in your work. You must be at least 18 years old and have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Since social documentation is done digitally, computer skills and the ability to handle digital tools are also necessary. Since Home Care Services Gnesta Landet serves many clients in rural areas and on the outskirts of Gnesta, a Class B driver's license is necessary, although walking and cycling trips also occur.
