Teacher of Swedish as a Second Language at Spångbergs Gymnasium

Description Spångbergs Gymnasium in Filipstad has ten national programs as well as an introductory program. A total of approximately 300 students attend the school. Regardless of program, we work together as one unit with the same values. We are now seeking a teacher of Swedish as a second language. Teaching will take place across several of our gymnasium programs, both college-preparatory and vocational programs as well as the introductory program. You will be part of a teaching team and work closely with other teachers. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction, assessing student performance and development needs, as well as evaluating and grading students. Mentorship is part of this position. Mentorship is a central part of the work at the school, where responsibility for following up on students' academic situation requires structure and initiative. Qualifications We are primarily seeking someone who is a certified gymnasium teacher. You have a genuine and committed interest in working with young people.
