More About the Job
In your role as an electrical design engineer, you'll be part of a great team responsible for the technical development and design of custom-built vessels. The team takes over once an order is placed and converts customer requirements into completed design documentation used in production.
Your work will include:
Design and development of electrical systems for specialty vessels
Creation of circuit diagrams and electrical line diagrams
Documentation and work in CAD and PDM systems
Cable routing and system integration from a design perspective
Requirements management throughout the development process
Testing, verification, and quality assurance of solutions
Collaboration with production, mechanical designers, and other technical functions
As someone new to the role, you will receive support from a highly experienced team with strong technical expertise. Much of your first time will be about understanding the products, the marine environment, and the special requirements placed on electrical systems aboard ships.
Requirements for the Position
A vocational education (YH) in electrical design, electrical engineering, or electronics
Fluent Swedish skills, both spoken and written
Basic English skills
Interest in technology and design
Recent graduates are warmly welcome to apply.
Meritorious
Experience as an electrician, preferably as an installation electrician
Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools for electrical design
Experience from industry, manufacturing, marine operations, or similar technical environments
