Support Educator/Habilitation Assistant for LSS Daily Activities Program

Do you want to create meaningful days for people with disabilities? We are now looking for a dedicated support educator/habilitation assistant for our daily activities program within LSS. About Daily Activities Program Daily activities is a service under LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities) aimed at people of working age who do not have the opportunity to work or study. The program should provide structure, community, and development – and contribute to increased independence and participation in society. The Role of Support Educator or Habilitation Assistant The habilitation assistant's role is to: support individuals in daily activities both socially, practically, and educationally. Adapt and facilitate communication for participants both verbally and through AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication). Provide support in achieving individual goals for participants based on the implementation plan. The support educator has overall responsibility for pedagogical work, documentation, and methodology guidance in the program. You work closely with participants and colleagues, and contribute your expertise to create clear structure, good communication, and an inclusive approach. Qualifications Education as a support educator, or other relevant post-secondary education in pedagogy, social work, or disability field Experience working in LSS programs is required Good ability to communicate and collaborate Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, low-intensity interaction, and individualized support is advantageous Terms The position is a 6-month temporary contract with possibility of extension Full-time Start date: August 10, 2026 or by agreement Criminal record extract is required B-driver's license is required Submit your application by July 5, 2026.
