Do you want to become part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to aspire to and grow in? With us, you contribute to development and growth across the entire county and work to offer the best possible service, care, and support for everyone who lives in or visits the region. We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and engagement, where both broad and specialized expertise are valued. Here you have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience. In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, quality of life is in focus. Here, magnificent nature is always nearby. Here you live comfortably and can fill your leisure time with experiences throughout Härjedalen. Are you the colleague who makes our team complete? We are looking for two additional colleagues to join our great group of general practitioners with an interest in rural medicine. We offer the best solution for you regarding digital solutions, scheduling, and arrangements, so you can get the most out of both work and leisure. You are also a member of our staff association, which offers many different activities. We develop together in our work with good and accessible care, the primary care of the future! As a physician, you have a patient list based on approximately 1,100 patients, which enables continuity and security. A developmental, person-centered approach to work together in the team at the health center. Working in a rural area means you get to develop and challenge your knowledge level under manageable conditions, as you treat many different conditions and provide complete treatment for more conditions than in a city. Sveg is one of only a handful of health centers in Sweden located very far from a hospital (190 km). We have approximately 4,500 registered patients. This, combined with the tradition of having been a provincial hospital, makes working in Sveg exciting. For example, there are two nearby care units, X-ray, our own lab, and much more that makes the rural medicine aspect particularly interesting. The unit is characterized by deep commitment and responsibility for the activities conducted in Härjedalen. The foundation of the work is outpatient care with broad primary care responsibilities at well-equipped health centers with MHV, BHV, and X-ray. On weekdays, Sveg's health center has urgent care services. Some work at the Nearby Care Unit (NÄVA) is also included, a collaboration between the Region and the municipality. During the winter season, we also operate branch services at the ski resorts Lofsdalen and Vemdalsskalet. 2 position(s). JOB DUTIES Working with us as a specialist in general medicine involves typical outpatient work with scheduled and acute visits, home visits, and digital visits when needed. There is also the opportunity for assignments within SÄBO, BVC, MVC, and supervision of training physicians. You have the opportunity to adjust your daily schedule according to your own preferences regarding administrative time and other matters. We have regular physician meetings locally at the unit as well as jointly in the nearby care area, and regular continuing education in the form of professional development days five days per year. These days contribute to creating a strong general medicine community in the region. In addition, you are offered a place in an FQ group for continuing education and group reflection five days per year. On-call shifts are part of the work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine, or nearing the end of your ST in general medicine and want to work for the benefit of the residents. Your own research and research supervision are merits but not a formal requirement for the position. You should be self-reliant, curious, and driven. We see that you contribute to a good work environment and with your expertise to other physicians and professionals. We work very much in teams, and good collaboration skills are very important to us. Employment form: Permanent employment. In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, our work is permeated by our core values: we create value for those we serve, act with initiative, and strive to always be perceived as reliable. With us, you have the opportunity to work in an organization where these values characterize everyday life and where your work truly makes a difference. As an employee, you have access to a wide range of benefits through our benefits portal. We care about your health and offer fitness allowances or fitness time. At Östersund Hospital, you can also train for free at the gym Zefyren and participate in leader-led classes. Selection and placement may take place continuously during the advertising period, so we would like you to submit your application as soon as possible.
