Bergs Municipality is investing in municipal rehabilitation and is therefore seeking two motivated and engaged occupational therapists for our team. Job Responsibilities With the investment in municipal rehabilitation, the operation is expanding with an additional occupational therapist. As an occupational therapist in municipal rehabilitation, you work in a team around the individual and follow our routines and processes. The work group currently consists of one occupational therapist, three physical therapists, one rehabilitation assistant, and an assistive device coordinator focused on the operation. With the expansion, the work group will consist of three occupational therapists and three physical therapists. You work in a team-based approach with a physical therapist in a geographic area. The municipality is divided into three areas – North, Central, and South – where you and the physical therapist are responsible for one area. Our clients are individuals who have home care in their own homes, LSS (disability services), personal assistance, short-term housing, and special residential facilities. You have experience from the property sector and are comfortable in a role where you can combine business acumen with public benefit. You are used to working in an organization with many contact points and have a natural ability to build trust and long-term relationships. Relevant higher education or university degree, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent and relevant to the position, is required, as is previous experience as a manager/leader in the construction sector and experience from work in the public sector. Previous work as a construction project manager, procurement within the Public Procurement Act, or legal expertise is meritorious. The position requires you to have good computer skills and very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. A driver's license for a passenger car (category B) is a requirement.
