Land Management Administrator West Sweden - (Multiple Locations)
Do you want to work with land management and an important public mission? As a land management administrator at the Fortifications Agency, you will be responsible for agricultural, hunting, and fishing management and get a varied role involving contracts, collaboration, and development of large land areas.
The Domain Group's mission is to manage forests and support the Fortifications Agency on forest-related matters and manage the agency's hunting, fishing, and agricultural leases.
The Fortifications Agency is one of Sweden's largest property owners and manages approximately 380,000 hectares of land, often with high biodiversity and significant natural values. More than half of the area is protected, for example as nature reserves and Natura 2000 areas.
Your daily work as a land management administrator
In the role of land management administrator, you will, in consultation with other land management administrators, independently manage and develop defense-adapted agricultural, hunting, and fishing management. The work is mainly based in West Sweden and involves close dialogue with, among others, the Swedish Armed Forces and rights holders. You will have many contact points in your daily work.
The position involves travel, primarily shorter work trips to our lands, properties, and facilities. You will be responsible for an area comprising approximately 50 agricultural leases, around 50 hunting rights agreements, and a smaller number of fishing rights.
Management includes, among other things, contract handling, negotiations, project management, and administration. The work also includes updates in property support systems, document management, and review and investigation work.
Work locations for the role are Skövde, Karlsborg, or Linköping or by agreement.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a university degree or college degree in a relevant field, for example as a land management specialist, agronomist, forestry graduate, or game manager. You have good knowledge in environment and nature conservation and a good understanding of land management issues. You express yourself fluently in Swedish in both speech and writing and have basic knowledge of English. Furthermore, you have good IT skills, preferably with experience in property systems and GIS. A driver's license category B is required as travel is part of the position. We see that you have several years of relevant work experience, for example as a land management administrator or land manager.
It is advantageous if you have certificates, operator's licenses, competency certificates, etc., in forestry or agricultural areas, education in wildlife management and a hunter's license. Experience and education in property law and usage rights, as well as experience in negotiation and contract handling, are also seen as an advantage. Experience from the green industries, public administration, or knowledge of total defense is also advantageous.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment and may be initiated with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed for wartime deployment. The work location is Skövde, Karlsborg, or Linköping or by agreement. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class.
