Project Manager at GT Steel Construction
Why You Matter
Welcome to GT Steel Construction, a steel construction company where successful projects and strong relationships are built together! We're now looking for a project manager who can lead both people and projects to success, and who wants to be part of our growth journey. As a project manager with us, you'll play a central role, where you're responsible for and ensure that our projects remain profitable from start to finish.
About GT Steel Construction
GT Steel Construction is a steel construction company that believes it should be fun to find solutions together with our customers. That's why we believe that a smooth and close customer relationship is the foundation of all successful collaborations, and we adapt ourselves to the customer so they get the most out of us.
We work efficiently without ever compromising on quality and are a reliable partner that wants to take pride in the work we perform. Finding flexible and customized solutions for our customers through guaranteed high-quality services is something we as a company place great emphasis on. With strong expertise and great drive, we want to take on the future together with our customers.
Our Culture
Do you want to be part of an innovative, energetic, and young company where the pace is high and company culture is at the top of the agenda? Then you've found the right place! You'll work in a team with high expertise and get to be part of a broad knowledge environment where we care about shared learning and interaction. We're a tight-knit group where the work climate is warm and open-minded with entrepreneurship in focus.
Focus of Your Role
As a project manager, you'll lead construction projects from start to finish. You have overall responsibility for the projects' budget, results, timeline, quality, and customer satisfaction. You're the hub in collaboration between the customer, suppliers, and our internal resources.
You will, among other things:
Manage project planning regarding time, budget, and resources
Maintain close dialogue with the customer and ensure that deliverables match their needs
Lead and coordinate project teams and subcontractors
Work with collaboration, framework, and project agreements
Follow up on project budgets and prepare financial reporting
Identify risks and ensure that project goals are met
What We're Looking For
We believe you have a background in construction engineering and have had time to gather several years of experience in construction production – preferably in a project management role. Perhaps you're currently working as a site supervisor, project engineer, or project manager and feel ready for your next challenge. What matters most to us is that you have a holistic perspective, are solution-oriented, and are comfortable taking responsibility.
We believe you have:
A construction engineering education, preferably at the post-secondary level
Experience leading construction projects – large and small
Good knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and financial follow-up
Understanding of construction law and various production methods
Experience from steel construction is a merit
Is This the Right Place for You?
We believe you're a self-driven and organized person who enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously and who likes to see concrete results from your work. You find it easy to collaborate with different types of people and are confident in taking responsibility for both planning and follow-up.
You're curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy when things are happening without losing focus on the details. Building relationships, solving problems, and driving projects forward together with others is something you appreciate. And you see it as a matter of course to contribute to a good work climate where people support each other and have fun along the way.
Have we caught your interest? We'd love to hear from you!
