JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a unit manager for the adult services unit, you are responsible for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances within your area. You lead and develop the business based on applicable legislation, the municipality's goals, and the residents' needs, and work closely with both employees and your superior manager. You have responsibility for developing and shaping an efficient organization characterized by good cooperation, both internally and externally with various stakeholders. You will become part of the management group for the authority and health and medical care and will have overall responsibility for developing the business. Your work makes a difference every day, and together with your management colleagues, you work toward a sustainable operation with high quality and good results. Social Secretary for Reception Function

This position belongs to the Care Sector's authority function where all authority exercise within social services is located. The operations consist of different units: Children & Youth, Adults, Family Group (family law and foster care), Financial Assistance, Functional Disability, and Elderly Care. The reception function is currently staffed by a social secretary from Children & Youth and a social secretary from Adults, and it is cases within these units that the reception handles. In the unit, we have close collaboration with each other and there is great mutual support between the different units. We share a common workplace which facilitates cooperation, regardless of which target group one works with. This also means that the opportunity to gain knowledge in other areas increases and there are great opportunities to develop within your profession. We have a pleasant workplace where we always care for and encourage each other. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a social secretary in our reception, you work together with a colleague to handle reports/applications that mainly concern children and young people 0-20 years old and their parents. Your work tasks include, among other things, tripartite meetings, report meetings, consulting telephone calls with, for example, school/preschool, telephone contact with other authorities, etc. You are often the first contact with social services and are the one who makes assessments about where the case should be handled, which means that it is a great advantage if you have broad and long experience in social work. We work according to BBiC and are currently also undergoing internal training in the risk assessment method iRisk. The work group has a high degree of flexibility where experience, competence and individual wishes are utilized. You will have daily support from colleagues, 1st social secretary and unit manager. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • Degree in Social Work • Class B driver's license We are looking for you if you: • Have good cooperation skills, commitment and can work independently. • Have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. • Have interest and ability to meet people in vulnerable situations. • Are open, responsive and contribute to a positive work environment. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Meritorious is experience of authority exercise according to the Social Services Act, LVU and LVM as well as previous work with the target group Children & Youth, but also other areas within Individual and Family Care.
