JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a unit manager for the adult services unit, you are responsible for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances within your area. You lead and develop the business based on applicable legislation, the municipality's goals, and the residents' needs, and work closely with both employees and your superior manager. You have responsibility for developing and shaping an efficient organization characterized by good cooperation, both internally and externally with various stakeholders. You will become part of the management group for the authority and health and medical care and will have overall responsibility for developing the business. Your work makes a difference every day, and together with your management colleagues, you work toward a sustainable operation with high quality and good results. The Adult Services Unit is responsible for authority functions within several key areas: • harmful use and addiction • violence in close relationships • financial assistance Your responsibilities: • Lead, plan, and follow up on the unit's work • Ensure legally sound handling and high quality in decision-making processes • Be responsible for personnel, work environment, and skills development • Drive development and improvement work • Cooperate with other operations, authorities, and stakeholders • Contribute to operational planning and goal achievement Why Tranemo? QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you as a confident and inspiring leader with the ability to create participation and drive change. You are attentive, take initiative, and have an easy time collaborating both internally and externally. You have a structured approach, are solution-oriented, and have the ability to make decisions even in complex situations. • Academic degree relevant to the position • Experience in municipal operations • Leadership experience • Good knowledge of current legislation • Strong communication skills The employer places great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews will be held on August 17 and 18, 2026. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite. Working hours: Daytime.
