Technical Project Manager
Just a kitchen, maybe someone thinks.
But at Nobia we know it's about something bigger!
Behind every kitchen is not only design and form, but stable and well-thought-out production where technology, processes, and people work together. At Tidaholm Träcenter – an important part of Nobia's value chain – components and painted details are manufactured with high precision and quality. With over 100 years of experience and approximately 100 employees, we are a stable and engaged player in the Swedish wood industry.
To make this possible, strong project management and clear technical overall responsibility are required – and that's where you come in, as Technical Project Manager.
Your role with us
As Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for driving projects related to industrialization, change, and product phase-out within Nobia's total product range. You work closely with production technology and production to ensure an efficient, stable, and robust product flow through the factory.
In the role as Technical Project Manager, you will, among other things:
Own and drive implementation projects related to new and existing products
Drive new product launch projects from concept phase to manufacturing
Responsible for design changes on existing items
Lead and drive phase-out projects
Drive projects related to changes, improvements, and updates in the factory
Responsible for administering, establishing, and maintaining the factory's design drawings and layouts.
Organizationally, you belong to Technology and Maintenance and will report to the Technology Manager. Collaboration will be close with the rest of production such as planning, quality, logistics, and also central functions within Nobia that work on developing our products.
Where we are right now
Tidaholm Träcenter is in a clear development phase where both the factory, working methods, and production setup continue to improve and become more efficient. Here you get a central role in translating strategy into practice and ensuring that changes are implemented in a structured and sustainable way.
You have the opportunity to influence how projects are driven, how production develops, and how technology and flows are shaped forward – in close collaboration with the business.
Work location and arrangement
The work location is Tidaholm Træcenter in Tidaholm and the position is mainly based on-site at the factory, but some hybrid work may be possible when operations allow. Travel may occur to a limited extent.
What you need to succeed in this role
We believe that you have a post-secondary technical education, or equivalent experience acquired through work. Requirements for the role are at least 5 years of experience in operational production-related activities as well as experience in project management, including budget and resource planning
Further, we see that you have:
Experience in production technology and production logistics
Experience with CAD programs, such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
Fluent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English
Experience from the wood industry or similar manufacturing operations is meritorious.
This role suits you if… …you enjoy collaboration, responsibility, and clear progress, and are motivated by seeing results in the business.
You are structured, driven, and solution-oriented
You take initiative and get things done
You have natural leadership without formal personnel responsibility
You engage others, create clarity, and follow up on work and decisions
