Are you an experienced car mechanic looking to work at an authorized Mercedes and Toyota service center in Sollefteå? You will be working with: As an automotive service mechanic at Werksta Sollefteå Hallstaberget, you'll work at an authorized service center for Mercedes and Toyota where you're responsible for diagnostics, service, and repair of passenger and light commercial vehicles. You'll be part of a team that prioritizes quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The work includes troubleshooting, service intervals according to manufacturer recommendations, component assembly and adjustment, and documentation in the workshop system. You collaborate closely with technicians, customer reception, and the service manager to ensure cost-effective and accurate repairs. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting using modern tools and diagnostic equipment. Carry out service, maintenance, and repairs according to Mercedes and Toyota authorized guidelines. Assemble and replace parts while ensuring correct adjustment and function before returning vehicles to customers. Document completed work in the workshop system and create accurate work orders and time reports. Collaborate with customer reception to inform customers about status, cost estimates, and recommendations. Participate in quality assurance, report deviations, and suggest improvements to work processes. Engage in skills development and stay updated on manufacturer training and service programs. Follow workshop procedures for safety, environment, and workshop organization. Your Profile We're looking for someone with automotive training or equivalent practical experience and workshop experience, preferably with a focus on Mercedes and/or Toyota. You are thorough, analytical in problem-solving, and enjoy working in a team. Experience with modern diagnostic tools and workshop systems is a plus. A Class B driver's license is required. Relevant automotive training or several years of experience as a mechanic. Experience with service and repairs according to manufacturer instructions, preferably with certification or previous work at an authorized Mercedes or Toyota workshop. Good technical understanding and familiarity with diagnostic tools and electronic systems. Structured, solution-oriented, and thorough with excellent communication skills.
