Sous Chef Summer Season
We are seeking a sous chef for a hotel on the west coast for the summer season.
In the role of sous chef, you will serve as the executive chef's right hand with both operational and creative responsibilities, and step into the executive chef's role when needed. You will lead the daily operations in the kitchen and ensure high quality, good structure, and a pleasant work environment.
Examples of work tasks:
Lead and delegate daily kitchen operations
Ensure high standards in food, presentation, and hygiene
Participate in menu development with a focus on locally produced ingredients, sustainability, and seasonal variations
Manage raw materials and work to minimize waste
Work with cost control and efficient resource utilization
Support and develop the kitchen team in daily operations
We are looking for you who:
Have experience as a sous chef or in a leadership role in a kitchen
