Litsonga Preschool is located in Klösta, approximately 2 kilometers outside the Lits village center. The preschool is operated as a parent cooperative where the association's board is the principal. With us, there is close collaboration between staff, guardians, and the board, with the children's best interests in focus. Litsongan has two departments with age-homogeneous groups ages 1-3 and 3-6 with close collaboration between the departments. We work from the idea that all children belong to everyone and we strive for a work climate characterized by community, flexibility, and care. We help each other across departments and professional groups to create the best conditions for both children and colleagues. The preschool is run in a charming older school building with large, lovely rooms and generous spaces for play and learning. The preschool is located in a natural setting where outdoor time is a natural part of every day. The work is based on a holistic view of children and their needs where care, development, and learning form a whole. We are now seeking a preschool teacher who has a co-inquiry approach and who wants to help create discovering, supportive, and developmental teaching for the children at our preschool. We are looking for a colleague who, together with other educators, wants to shape an activity where children are allowed to discover and learn in well-designed environments where systematic quality work is the common thread for gaining insight into children's learning in order to create a high-quality preschool. The preschool has a kitchen where our own cook prepares all our meals daily from basic ingredients. A day as a preschool teacher at Litsongan As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and developing education in accordance with Lpfö18. You work together with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where each child has the opportunity to develop according to their conditions. The operations are designed so that learning and teaching are adapted and varied according to children's interests, conditions, and needs. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning learning processes based on the preschool's governing documents and using a formative approach to implement, follow up on, and evaluate the teaching. You will be part of a work team consisting of childcare workers, a cook, and a principal, and will contribute to the continued development of the operations.
