The work involves preparing meals from scratch for approximately 24 children, 20 after-school children, and 6 staff members.
As a cook with us, you work closely with the educators and are an important part of the children's day. At Juvelen, we work with meal pedagogy and children's participation in the kitchen to provide a positive dining experience.
Your assignment involves responsibility for budget, purchasing, planning, preparing, and serving good and nutritious food. You must ensure good food hygiene and internal controls. It is important that you have good knowledge of special diets and allergies.
