The department has its own telemetry units and we work based on team-based care. As a new nurse in the department, you will be included in a project called 80-20. The purpose of the project is to create a better balance between clinical work and competence development. The project means that 80 percent of your employment is scheduled for clinical work and 20 percent is scheduled for competence development activities such as training, areas of responsibility, and project work. This is aimed at improving the work environment and creating greater participation in and structure around the development of both your own role and the operations.
