Then you should apply to our neurology department in Kristianstad! The Neurology Department is a care unit at Centralsjukhuset in Kristianstad (CSK) under the Medicine operational area. The department is responsible for adult patients with stroke and neurological diseases. In addition to nursing care and nursing responsibilities, nurses are part of the hospital's brain rescue alert system around the clock. We work based on team-based care. As a nursing educator, you will have a key role in leading and prioritizing educational initiatives linked to a project we call 80-20. The purpose of the project is to create a better balance between clinical work and competence development for our employees. The project means that 80 percent of the work schedule is allocated to clinical work and 20 percent is allocated to competence development activities such as training, areas of responsibility, and project work. This is aimed at improving the work environment and creating greater participation in and structure around the development of both your own role and the operations. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are looking for someone who wants an exciting and varied position where you have the opportunity to develop the role of nursing educator. The position involves working 50 percent as a nursing educator and 50 percent clinically. You will also have the role of principal preceptor on our department. Working hours are scheduled during day, evening, and night shifts on all days of the week, and we use booking schedules and major holiday rotations. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. You have several years of experience as a nurse, are confident in your profession, and have an interest in educating and guiding both nurses and nursing assistants. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is also a requirement for the position. It is meritorious if you have previous experience in neurology, and also if you have completed preceptor training and have experience in teaching and planning educational initiatives and simulation exercises. We are looking for someone with good organizational skills and foresight, while you can also adapt and prioritize your work when an acute situation arises. You have an interest in neurology, great drive, and the desire to further develop care.
