We are now seeking a service-oriented technician for our automation department at Nymölla Mill. Focus on instrumentation/control and regulation technology. We are looking for someone with previous experience working with control and regulation technology or experience in automation technology. About the position In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as an automation technician at the paper mill. We are responsible for improving and maintaining our process equipment, which includes control and drive systems as well as measurement and analysis equipment, including valves, flow meters, and temperature sensors. In your daily work, you will troubleshoot our process equipment and electrical installations. The workday consists largely of planned and scheduled work at the mill, but you will also support acute maintenance. At a strategic level, you will be involved in our continuous improvement work according to LEAN principles. Who are you? Sylvamo Nymölla bruk is located twelve miles east of Kristianstad in Bromölla municipality. The mill produces pulp using the magnesite method and uncoated fine paper. Multicopy is our most well-known product. Production capacity is 340,000 tonnes of pulp and 475,000 tonnes of fine paper. We are now seeking an initiative-taking and collaborative colleague to join our Fiber department at the Pulp Mill. What do we offer you? We offer you a varied workday where you work operatively as a technician and have the opportunity to be driving and/or involved in continuous improvements related to work methods, production and maintenance processes, as well as cost and availability optimization. Fiber encompasses the processes from cooking to pumping of pulp. The main processes are, in turn, cooking, screening and washing, bleaching, and secondary screening. Additionally, the department is responsible for raw water treatment, feed water production, ultrafiltration, dryer, and pumping of pulp to the paper mill. Operations shall be conducted with minimal impact on our surroundings and, not least, with a strong focus on safety for employees and the facility. In this role, you will also be involved in projects to optimize production, quality, environment, and costs. About the position In your daily work as a technician, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing operations within Fiber, primarily the Bleaching and Paper Salt sections.
