Film and Series Teacher Wanted

Kalix Folkhögskola is beautifully situated at the mouth of the Kalixälven River, a couple of kilometers from Kalix center in Norrbotten County. The school is run by SV (Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan Norrbotten). Today, Kalix Folkhögskola serves as an educational option for approximately 250 students each year, making us a relatively large folk high school with a history dating back to 1939. The school offers both on-site and distance education programs in various fields, providing a highly varied selection of courses. Knowledge is today's most sought-after resource, and at Kalix Folkhögskola we are committed to contributing to public education with the vision of keeping each individual in focus. We now need to strengthen our teaching team and are seeking a teacher for our Film and Series course. We are looking for someone who wants to help shape tomorrow's filmmakers and who is passionate about supporting others toward a career in an exciting film industry. We believe that you, as an applicant, have solid experience in film and series production with good insight into the industry and an extensive network of contacts. We are looking for a team player with the ability to share your knowledge with others. You need to have the willingness and genuine commitment to create something unique for our participants. Our Film and Series course is primarily structured as a distance education program with a few in-person meetings per year at Kalix Folkhögskola. Therefore, strong digital skills would be a significant asset. Experience in public education (folkbildning) is an advantage.
